Koloid In The Garden

I've been having a bit of fun with the iPhone camera app, Koloid.

Koloid mimics wet-plate collodion photography. I won't go into specifics about how the app works, but will say that once you get used to the developing stage of the process, it's loads of fun and some stunning results are waiting to be created right there in your phone; 19th century photography meets 21st century digital technology.

The pictures above were all shot in my garden. The flowers are of the following plants (from top to bottom): Sansevieria trifasciata, Stephanotis floribunda and Adenium obesum.
