Walking Terra Cotta

I spent the better part of my day at the Bowers Museum viewing the Chinese exhibits, which includes some of the Terra Cotta Warriors on loan from the Chinese government.

Wandering through the exhibit and down the halls, this gentleman, in make-up and costume, was playing the part of a living Terra Cotta Warrior. Non-verbal and moving around like a man made of clay, he added a different dimension to the exhibit. I'm still pondering if it was a good thing or not. Entertaining, perhaps, but certainly something to give the kids nightmares; a true to life golem.
