100 Strangers: 1 of 100

I met Felix yesterday at a local coffee haunt. He is a friend of an old friend.
One of the first things Felix and I found out about each other is that we share a common birthday, which is the day before we met. Felix has a few years on me, but evidently, we wasn't holding that against me.

Felix is semi-retired, but still works as a chauffeur; driving both town cars and limousines. He said that he started out his driving career with buses; he drove a bus in New York City for a few years and thought that was enough to get him to move out of the city and find a quieter life.

Felix is number one in a series I plan on undertaking; 100 strangers. I came across the 100 Strangers project on another blog and thought that it is a worthy challenge. There is a 100 Strangers website and most participants are posting to their flickr accounts. I, however, plan to post my right here in my journal.

If you'd like to know more about this project and the challenge, you can go here.
